You will handle full-cycle accounting for the entities, brands and stores assigned to you, with a particular focus on platform reconciliation, cost and profit accounting, inventory and cash management, providing accurate and timely data for business decisions.

We expect you to be able to manage accounts and complete month-end closing independently, with at least one professional strength you can demonstrate through a real example in cross-border platform reconciliation, cost and profit analysis, inventory accounting or export-related accounting and tax work.

2. Responsibilities

  1. Full-cycle accounting
Handle daily vouchers, revenue, costs and expenses, receivables, payables and other balances. Complete monthly closing and financial statements, ensuring the accounts are truthful, accurate and traceable.
  2. Platform settlements and cash reconciliation
Reconcile sales, refunds, promotional discounts, commissions, advertising fees, reimbursements and settlement transactions from Amazon and other channels. Match collection accounts and bank receipts, investigate differences and follow through on resolution.
  3. Product and store profitability analysis
Collect purchasing, packaging, first-mile freight, warehousing, fulfillment, advertising, returns and disposal costs and expenses by brand, store, channel and SKU. Allocate them appropriately, produce profit reports and analyze unusual changes.
  4. Inventory records and reconciliation
Work with purchasing, supply-chain and warehouse colleagues to reconcile purchase receipts, bundled packaging, dispatches, goods in transit, overseas warehouses and FBA inventory. Maintain inventory records and track stocktake discrepancies, excess stock and losses.
  5. First-mile freight and document coordination
Work with first-mile logistics, supply-chain and documentation colleagues to check freight quotations, chargeable weight or volume, surcharges, invoices and supporting documents. Collect costs by shipment and follow up on unexpected fees, claims and refunds.
  6. Cash planning and tax coordination
Track purchase deposits, final balances, sales receipts and expense payments, and prepare cash plans. Complete or coordinate tax filings, export tax exemptions and rebates, and overseas tax documentation according to the actual business and division of responsibilities, following up on progress.
  7. Business support and process development
Provide the lead with profit, expense, inventory and cash-flow analysis and flag business risks. Improve reimbursement, reconciliation, month-end closing and filing processes. Use AI to assist with data preparation and analysis, and review the outputs.

  3. Familiarity with settlement processes on Amazon or other major cross-border e-commerce platforms, and the ability to explain and reconcile differences between sales revenue, platform settlements and actual receipts.
  4. Familiarity with cross-border e-commerce cost accounting, including first-mile freight, FBA fulfillment, storage, advertising, refunds and inventory losses, with the ability to analyze store or product profitability.
  5. The ability to establish and maintain inventory records, reconcile purchasing, receipts, dispatches, goods in transit and overseas warehouse data, and investigate discrepancies independently.
  6. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software, including data matching, aggregation and pivot analysis. You can read common English-language platform statements and fee fields.
  7. Awareness of cash, tax and data-confidentiality issues. You proactively verify missing documents, discrepancies between records and actual balances, and unusual charges, and work to resolve them.
