1. Position overview

You will develop and manage overseas B2B customers for the brands and products assigned to you. Working with distributors, retailers, brand clients and other suitable purchasing customers, you will handle needs discussions, quotations and negotiation, closing orders, collecting payment and repeat business.

We value people who exercise judgment, work methodically and proactively move business forward. Your strengths may lie in identifying customer needs and designing prospecting strategies, or in business communication, relationship building and sustained follow-up, alongside the basic ability to manage international trade sales independently.

2. Responsibilities

  1. Market research and customer development
Identify customer types and purchasing scenarios based on our products, supply-chain resources and target markets. Proactively develop overseas customers through Google, LinkedIn, email, social media and industry channels, and follow up on inquiries and business opportunities assigned by the company.
  2. Customer assessment and differentiated follow-up
Research customers’ businesses, purchasing needs and partnership potential. Identify key contacts, decision-making processes and purchasing schedules. Create differentiated follow-up plans and focus effort on high-value opportunities.
  3. Product presentations and needs discussions
Accurately explain the brand, product advantages and value of working together. Understand requirements for specifications, uses, quantities, packaging and lead times, and coordinate internally to confirm product suitability and supply feasibility.
  4. Quotations, negotiation and closing
Work with supply-chain and finance colleagues to verify costs, quotations and payment terms. Progress sample approval, commercial negotiation and order signing, balancing customer needs, order profitability and transaction risk within your authority.
  5. Order delivery and logistics coordination
Track orders, payments, production and shipment milestones. Coordinate transport arrangements and documents with supply-chain, first-mile logistics and documentation colleagues, keep customers informed and help resolve delivery problems.
  6. Customer relationships, payment collection and repeat orders
Follow up with key customers on receivables and product feedback. Identify replenishment, additional purchasing and new-product opportunities, and promote payment collection, repeat orders and long-term collaboration.
  7. Data review and AI use
Maintain customer profiles, communication records, quotations and opportunity progress. Regularly review prospecting and conversion results. Use AI to assist with customer research, communication preparation and organizing materials, and develop reusable customer-development methods.

3. Requirements

  1. A bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in international trade, business English, marketing or a related field, with at least 3 years of overseas B2B sales experience.
  2. Practical experience proactively developing customers and closing business, with the ability to independently prospect and follow up after the product and business handover.
  3. A considered approach to customer management: you can assess needs, partnership potential and barriers to progress, and develop communication strategies and next actions for different customers.
  4. Good business communication skills, with the ability to build trust, handle objections and help customers reach decisions through email, telephone and online meetings.
  5. English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills sufficient to conduct international trade sales independently. Other languages are a plus, not a requirement.
  6. Familiarity with inquiry, quotation, sample, order, shipment and payment processes, an understanding of common trade and payment terms, and awareness of profitability and payment-collection risks.
  7. The ability to learn products and adapt across categories, understand customer needs and purchasing logic for different products, and communicate product information accurately.
  8. The ability to maintain customer records consistently, prioritize follow-up, proactively coordinate internal resources and resolve problems.
  9. Willingness to learn and actually use AI tools to improve efficiency, verifying customer information, product materials and external communications. We provide tools and training; practical application experience is preferred.

4. Preferred experience and qualifications

5. Working arrangements and benefits

Working hours: 09:00–18:00, with a 1.5-hour lunch break and weekends off.

Benefits and support: The five statutory social insurance programs and housing provident fund from joining; occasional afternoon refreshments and team activities; Codex seats, dedicated AI training and practical guidance.

6. Growth and development

We value professional strengths, customer value and actual business results. You will have opportunities to develop overseas markets for different brands and products, building customer-management, channel-development and cross-category collaboration skills through real business.

The initial focus is independent business delivery. Depending on business development and individual performance, you may progress toward key-account leadership, overseas business leadership or team management.

7. How to apply

Please provide your CV and prepare an anonymized example that demonstrates your strengths, such as independently acquiring a new customer, progressing a complex negotiation, reactivating a dormant customer or increasing repeat orders. Explain your own responsibilities, key actions and actual results.

We will assess fit through business interviews, English conversation and case discussions, and verify relevant employment experience with the candidate’s consent. You do not need to provide a former employer’s customer lists or other trade secrets.
